Cold hardier form of Agapanthus, also called "Lily of the Nile", giving blue to light blue globes of small trumpet shaped flowers on stems about 35 to 50 cm (14 to 20 inches) tall.  Leaves are evergreen during mild Willamette Valley / Western Washington winters at elevations up to about 460M (1500 ft), but sometimes die back to the ground when temperatures drop to about -7 C (20 F).  Tough and beautiful plant, does best in full sun, very few pests and no insect pests ever observed by us here.  Flowers attract bees, especially our native black and yellow bumblebee.  Grows will in pots five gallons and larger, and in bright light areas of the garden with well-draining soil.
