Echinacea purpurea seeds, seeds of hardy pink cone flower.  This is a tough perennial plant of the sunflower or asteraceae family.  Easy to grow from seed.  Generally flowers in its second summertime and onwards.  Deer resistant, as the centers of echinacea flower heads are stiff and bristly.  Low water needs once established, and this helped by proper mulching with leaf mold or straw.  Longer bloom time, upwards six weeks with adequate water (modest, once-per-week watering July - August in Pacific Northwest).  Generally low care and rewarding temperate climate garden flower.
